You know, Michael Jackson used to be a great pop star. I used to love listening to Thriller when I was in elementary school. After reading this and thinking about it, I really wish The Onion was a real newspaper.

Well, he made an interesting game. I guess it stands to reaso that the creator of Katamari Damacy would be an interesting guy as well.

I've always had a passing interest in Star Trek. I enjoy the material pre-Voyager and I usually get into watching it with BLM when he has it on. I really like the movies, especially Star Trek V: Enterprise vs. There Is No God.

Anyway when I saw this I read through it. After that I'm not thinking, "Wow, this sounds like a cool game." No, I'm more along the lines of "I already have a job and this sounds incredibly similar to work." Sorry, I don't want to sit in fantasy engineering all day when I sit here and do process engineering all day.

So I really haven't paid that much attention to the Ben and Jen drama. The little I do know comes from my wife and Penny Arcade. Despite my ignorance and apathy, this is pretty funny.

I'm honestly not sure what it is, but for some reason, I have a strong desire to see this movie when it comes out.

So I'm glad I never exchanged my LameCube Megaman Anniversary collection for the LameStation version... because now it's coming out for Xbox.

(You know those 8-bit graphics are going to look so much better with the Xbox hardware, just like Paperboy.)

Jared's comment's suck. They won't let me post. So hey, Happy Belated Birthday.

I know that they're probably just going to fuck something up on all of the cool things they want to do (built-in wireless, backwards compatability, etc.) by the time they release it (you know, like make a stupid controller and then not fix it). But there is a possibility that Nintendo is getting its first pubes.

Fuck the Wind Wanker!

The real Zelda game coming out for Lamecube. Make sure to watch the trailer. If you don't get excited after that, I don't know who you are anymore.

So here are some things on the next Xbox. Not much that hasn't been floating around already. Despite the fact that I've heard it before, I still am really excited about custom soundtracks for everything.

Yes. Do that. Do exactly that.

Pimpin' Ain't Easy, But It's Necessary

So Ben Folds did a cover of Dre's Bitches Ain't Shit and it's supprisingly good. Not that it wouldn't be good, but he played the whole thing straight and it sounds more quality than tongue-in-cheek. I mean it's a white boy doing a hardcore hip-hop track so of course it's tongue-in-cheek, but there's a hint of sincerity to the emotion behind the lyrics which is, frankly, kind of weird. Anyway, here it is in wma format and, if you prefer, mp3 format. The mp3 has an early flaw which is why I posted both.

Also, for those of you woindering why I'm not refering you to iTunes for it, it's because I refuse to pay for mp3s as the quality isn't that great (so you shouldn't have to either). Also, I'm a liner notes junkie so if this ends up on a CD single, I'll be the first to drop $20 on the import for the b-side (which I've done for way too many tracks in the past). So yeah, if you have some moral qualm with downloading mp3s, you can always hit iTunes.

So I read this today and now I might have to blow some money as some of the Family Guy figures look cool and I should really start on the Sesame Street Figures as I was kicking myself for not getting the Muppet Show figures.

However, I am most excited about the Adult Swim line now the Sealab figures don't look all that great, but I am totally stoked for Master Shake and Ben Katz.

I was thinking about doing a post on the Oscars this year, because I was actually bored and tired enough to watch it (alright, I also wanted to see Chris Rock) but someone beat me to the best (and most repeated) joke of the evening.
